In the most recent survey of the status of the fishery, DNR personnel captured 1,837 fish representing 20 species.

Successful lake trout anglers focus their efforts on the deepest water in Maceday.

Master Angler records show that Glen lake produces trophy-sized perch, smallmouth bass, rock bass and lake trout.

Pete’s Lake is known as a good multi-species lake and features fishable populations of smallmouth bass, bluegills, rock bass, and northern pike, in addition to the walleyes.

The most recent netting survey of the fishery in White Lake revealed strong populations of walleyes, crappies, bluegills, and largemouth bass.

And the most recent survey of the lake turned up very good numbers of yellow perch.

The locals appreciate the walleye fishery and find pretty solid action when fishing around the sunken islands with jigs and minnows or nightcrawlers.

Between 2015 and 2019, the last years updated on the DNR’s Master Angler page, a total of 20 Master Angler awards were presented to anglers for fish they caught on Green Lake.

The most recent DNR survey on the status of the fishery in Hamlin produced 21 species of fish including 10 species of game fish.
