Outdoor News Inc., together with Kinetic Performance Dog Food, invites bird dog enthusiasts to submit their best hunting dog photo for the annual Huntin’ Buddy Photo Contest. This online-only photo contest gives entrants a chance to win a year’s supply of Kinetic Performance Dog Food. Photos will be judged on photo quality, and preference will be given to dogs pictured in an outdoor or hunting scene. Entries must be submitted by August 28, 2026.
Tips and Rules:
- Photos must be copyright-free and permissible for publication by Outdoor News. Photos that have previously appeared in other publications will not be considered.
- This is a dog photo contest. No photos will be accepted that include the owner or any other people.
- Profile shots are welcome, but preference will be given to photos showing dogs in an outdoor or hunting setting.
- Pick your best shot. Do not submit multiple photos of the same canine companion. Limit one entry per dog. More than one dog may be included in the same photo.
- All photos will be reviewed before being displayed to ensure they meet Outdoor News standards of good taste.
- One winning entrant will receive a year’s supply of Kinetic Performance Dog Food. Prize is based on 3 cups per day for a typical large bird dog, according to Kinetic Performance Dog Food standard feeding guidelines, with a maximum of 10 bags.
- The winner will be notified no later than September 25, 2026, and will be published in Outdoor News no later than December 2, 2026.
- All entry submissions become the property of Outdoor News Inc. Entrants agree to full usage of submitted images, names, and likenesses for contest promotion by Outdoor News Inc., Kinetic Performance Dog Food, and contest sponsors without compensation.
- Neither Outdoor News Inc. nor contest sponsors will be responsible for lost submissions or for damages, losses, or injury related to contest participation.
