Laurellville, Ohio — The Ohio DNR (ODNR) recently celebrated a major milestone for Tar Hollow State Park with a ribbon-cutting ceremony marking the completion of a series of substantial upgrades designed to enhance visitor comfort, safety, and recreation opportunities.
Among the most anticipated upgrades is the addition of full hook-up campsites, giving campers access to upgraded electric, water, and sewer connections. The park also replaced aging sewer and electric systems to improve reliability for years to come, according to a release from ODNR. Visitors to Tar Hollow will notice immediate benefits thanks to a comprehensive improvement project that modernized essential infrastructure and added new amenities throughout the park.
