This season has been an odd one, to say the least. In all my years, I’ve never seen weather patterns quite like this – and not just in Minnesota, but all across the Midwest.
We’ve had unseasonably cold, unseasonably warm, and wind that never seems to end. To add insult to injury, we’re also experiencing water levels at extreme lows – as much as three feet in some lakes. This combination has been a bit of a recipe for disaster and changed how fish are using the water.
