SCOTUS hears Mexico’s lawsuit against U.S. gun makers

The Supreme Court seemed likely March 4 to block a $10 billion lawsuit Mexico filed against top firearm manufacturers in the U.S. alleging the companies have fueled cartel gun violence.
Both liberal and conservative justices appeared skeptical that the claims could clear hurdles in U.S. law that largely shield gun makers from lawsuits when their products are used in crime.

How a plan to catch a record fish came together in 1982 on Minnesota’s Pomme de Terre River

When a world-record catch is made while fishing, a great deal of luck is involved.

The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation requires spring turkey hunters to enter a drawing and make reservations before hunting on most DEC-managed properties by midnight March 20.

The club chairman, Jim Halleran, gave a moving and inspiring close of banquet speech that focused on the importance of storytelling and story sharing as hunters and anglers. I looked around the room and realized this was a room full of great stories.
