A turkey hunter allowed his temptation to override his ethics this past spring. A bystander decided to report the situation to Wisconsin DNR Conservation Warden Dylan Belisle – in person.
Belisle was in southern Barron County when a turkey hunting complaint arose in the form of a tap on his truck window. Belisle was parked on the roadside dealing with reports on a previous case when a local person came up to his truck window and started with, “I saw something yesterday that I knew I should let a warden know about.”
