Times have changed. Many hunters hold a year-round focus on deer and turkey hunting, often ignoring the small game seasons that once defined tradition.
Squirrels are still an excellent way to introduce new hunters. Seeking a limit will shore up your scouting, stalking, and shooting skills in short order.
