This is the time of year when trappers and fur hunters are selling their furs and hope to maximize a good return. Trappers who have taken fur to any of New York’s auctions are seeing a consistent rise in mink, fox, and coyote prices.
Although a gradual rise, it may point ahead to a positive future and in time produce better markets.
