By the time you read this the trapping season will have been open almost three weeks in Illinois. The first week at least was pretty mild, so I’m sure many trappers took advantage of this.
There is no doubt that Russia’s war in Ukraine has had a big impact on the international fur market. If there was not a war right now, fur prices would be better.
