The most recent survey revealed an walleye abundance of 7.3 fish per acre, which is considered a good to excellent fishery.

It sounds as though walleye anglers are starting to transition back to minnows, although crawlers and crankbaits are still producing fish.

Long Labor Day weekend turned up some fish and cooler temps.
