Northwest Wisconsin Fishing Report – August 4, 2021 – video
On the walleye front, several 5- to 8-pound fish have been caught in the last two weeks, with one pushing 10 pounds.

Checking out northeast and southwest Wisconsin fisheries. Here’s what worked.

Plum Lake may cover more than 1,000 acres, but it’s irregular shape, multiple islands and abundance of structure makes Plum a great choice on windy days.

While some bigger walleyes are being caught on deep, main-lake structure in some areas, weedy spots seem to be holding better numbers of fish.

Still fishing deep water for these panfish, particularly the bigger ones. But watch your electronics for suspended fish here.

Another hot weekend, but some great fishing to be had.

A lot of sunfish and crappies to be had – here’s how and where to get ’em.

My best advice to any Mississippi River bound bass angler? Treat it like a flowage, and you’re sure to score well.

Well into the summer pattern and there’s not much change in sight.
