The stable warm weather definitely caused the big bug hatch to continue throughout the past week and that affected fishing success.
Water temps in the upper 50s tell us the walleye spawn is pretty much over, just as the weather has become more stable. Another issue to deal with has been the bug hatch.
We’re on the tail end of the walleye spawn, but the crappies are starting their spawn.
