Research looks at most effective ways to spend money designated to fighting aquatic invasive species
Each year for the past seven years, all but a few counties in Minnesota have received shares of a $10 million pot of funding to spend, in a variety of ways, on preventing the spread of aquatic invasive species in Minnesota waters. A research project spearheaded by University of Minnesota graduate student Nichole Angell is attempting to, among other things, determine how those precious AIS dollars are most effectively spent.
