The biggest fish caught during the 47th annual World Musky Hunt (WMH) went 47 1⁄2 inches for Kurt Brasser, but that didn’t mean Brasser made the winning team.

McDowell, a DNR game warden and part-time deputy sheriff, was one of several dozen officers, biologists, first responders, and others who volunteered to teach county kids about fishing, fish biology, and fish management.
