After the March Fur Harvesters Auction (FHA) sale brought sharply higher pelt prices for several North America’s furbearers, its final sale of the season on June 2-4 was eagerly awaited.
Record prices were paid during their March for sable (Pine marten) and “Lynx cats” (bobcats) and furbearer sellers were anxious to see if the market would remain strong or if buyers checked everything off their lists during their first shopping spree.
