I recently spent an afternoon in a ground blind I set up last August. I was anticipating some deer-hunting action on this perfect late afternoon.
After an hour or so in the blind, I heard some sporadic rifle shots to my north. It didn’t sound like target practice, but rather someone probably hunting squirrels or rabbits. The sixth shot I heard came right over my ground blind, and I heard the leaves above me scatter.
