Commentary: Wolf population goal needed in Wisconsin, but don’t let DNR set it too high

I commend State Rep. Chanz Green, R-Grandview, and Sen. Rob Stafsholt, R-New Richmond, for circulating a bill that will require the DNR to put a numbered goal on the wolf population in Wisconsin. My concern is the DNR will set it very high based upon the proposed wolf management plan and what is considered science by the tone of the plan.
