There’s some seasonal action, mainly during the open-water season for panfish, bass, and walleyes, but virtually no winter pressure because its depth and wind-swept nature rarely allow good ice to form.

With innumerable sizes, shapes and rigging options, swimbaits catch fish very well, which is the obvious reason for their increase in application wherever fish swim.

You don’t need exacting replicas of crayfish to be successful but it certainly pays to adjust crayfish patterns for bulk and weight.

Attention is still being given to hybrid striped bass in Lake Glenn Shoals, but largemouth bass aren’t conceding the spotlight yet.
