The shallow-water walleye and pike bite is in full swing.

Grab yourself some leeches, a couple slip bobbers and hold on. Tanner checks in with water temps, bite info and how he rigs his bobbers for shallow-water walleye fishing.

Water temps are on the rise and the bite is heating up. Shore fishing remains good in the afternoons and evening-anglers are finding success in shallow back bays where the water temps are spiking around

Water temps are rising and the walleye spawn is almost complete. Here’s how the walleye and pike bite has been this last week.

Ice off, docks in. How the shore anglers are faring.

How ice-out and shore fishing are coming along – it won’t be long before the ice is gone and it will be game on for open-water fishing.

Checking out the bite and how the ice and access points are fairing during the current warm-up. Travel on the ice is almost to the point of walk-out traffic only.

The walleye bite remains strong along with active perch on sunny days. Plenty of ice, too – to the tune of 24-plus inches on Devils Lake.
