Access on Devils Lake has gotten a lot better with a lot of the snow hardening, and the walleye and perch bite remains good with consistent weather.

With around 30 inches of ice around the basin, we have some of the best ice fishing still ahead of us.

Downsizing lures when weather fronts move through and the bite turns negative.

It’s been brutally cold, but the bite has remained good. Downsizing baits has helped put fish on the ice.

What we’re seeing for water temps around the area – and how about the bite?
