Regulations allowing e-tagging, bonus youth tag and changes to DMAP program take effect in New York

In time for the opening of the Southern Zone archery and various small game seasons on Oct. 1, including the Northern Zone fall turkey season, the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation announced that hunting tag proposals put forth this past summer for public comment have been adopted as regulations and are effective immediately.
