As Ohio State Trappers Association (OSTA) fur auction coordinator Shawn Bentley drove though the heavy snowfall in Butler County, he wondered if he should have canceled the first sale of the season in the name of safety and attendance.
However, it was a good thing that the Bucyrus auction proceeded as planned, as about 20 sellers who braved the roads offered their lots of fur to five to six buyers as OSTA volunteers helped to run the event as smoothly as ever.
