Commentary: Busting myth that Pennsylvania’s public land more costly for municipalities

That study showed that one acre of public land is costing the community 30 cents on the dollar. So, that means the community – county, township and school district – are banking 70 cents for every dollar of payment in lieu of taxes (PILT) from public land.
