New York’s Paul Jackson, an outdoors leader in Niagara County, passes at 80
Paul Jackson, of Sanborn, N.Y., long-time president of the Niagara River Anglers Association and a charter member of the group, passed away July 29 at his home. He was 80 years old.
As a lifelong proponent of fishing, hunting, conservation, and our natural resources in the area, Jackson was a true leader in the outdoors. His involvement with the Niagara River Anglers Association is considered legendary, starting as a charter member back in 1982. Through the years, he served as vice president, before taking over the reins as president – serving more than three decades in that capacity.
