The weather over the weekend definitely limited the number of people going out, but there were plenty of people heading to the Missouri River on Monday. So how’s the fishing?
Many fishermen’s thoughts have shifted to the Missouri River and open water. Jigs and minnows have been the ticket to many limits being caught.
A lot of people have turned their focus to open water and many anglers are now heading to the Missouri River.
Many anglers were able to see the difference the change in pressure made this past weekend – lots of photos of larger walleyes and perch.

With warmer weather ahead, the bite should take off once again.
Despite a fairly inconsistent bite the past week, there have been some really nice walleyes caught.
Despite the more favorable weather this past week, the bite was fairly inconsistent. Still plenty of nice walleyes were caught, but that was more the exception than the rule.
The bite has started to improve quite a bit earlier this week as the temperatures warmed and the pressure fell.
