The spring big lake trolling action around the Orleans County Oak Orchard waters continues to be good.

Lake Erie anglers continue to enjoy excellent catches of big yellow perch, with lots of limits reported.

Reportedly some very good days on Lake Ontario recently, fishing deeper waters on the Niagara Bar and trolling with spoons to target king salmon.

West-end Lake Ontario trollers continue to report excellent near-shore action. Brown trout remain the dominant catch inside 15 feet of water, on medium-sized spoons and stickbaits.

It seems like there is a good amount of browns out in the open lake of all year classes.

Trolling action on the open lake has been good off the Orleans County waters at Point Breeze.

River action has been good the past week.
