Dan Ladd: Random thoughts on earning a second buck in New York

Here it is the eve of another spring turkey season in New York and many of us can’t stop talking about DEC’s current proposed deer hunting regulations, mainly the earn-a-second buck component. The timing is coincidental, because if this, or any of the other proposals were to make their way into this year’s Hunting & Trapping Regulations Guide, then decisions have to be made fairly soon.
Social media continues to be a hot-bed for discussion on this.
