Once Michigan’s spring has sprung, there are a few things to count on – morel mushrooms, open water fishing, and wandering black bears top of the list.
The Michigan DNR made a point recently of reminding residents of pending movements by the state’s 12,000 or so black bears. It also noted that spring is a time when young cubs will be tagging along with adult bears.
