For most Minnesota anglers, bass are the boys of summer. Think bass and you think muggy mornings and long, sun-shot summer evenings. Topwater frogs in the lily pads, or deep weed edges and crankbaits when the sweat is dripping off your elbows. That’s bass fishing. But late fall? That’s for walleyes and muskies.
I get the skepticism. But late fall bass fishing has a few things going for it.
