The Nature Conservancy – a conservation organization committed to building a future in which both people and nature thrive – has announced a significant milestone: 1 million acres protected across Minnesota, North Dakota, and South Dakota.
For more than 65 years, TNC’s Minnesota-North Dakota-South Dakota chapter has collaborated with partners, private landowners, and native nations to protect and restore the grasslands, forests, and fresh water that define this region.
