Pennsylvania Game Commission’s elk check station collects valuable data

Pennsylvania’s elk hunting season is split into three parts. The archery and general seasons are closed. Within the framework of the archery season, hunters harvested 14 bulls and seven cows. In the general season, 27 bulls were harvested along with 19 cows for a combined total of 67 elk.
The total tag allotment for the 2024 season is for 140 elk split over three separate seasons – archery, general and the late season.
