Steve Carney: Tips for using a deer decoy in late November

This is the time of the deer-hunting season when I pull out my doe decoy that I’ve named “Bess.” She rests comfortably in my pole building all season, and then, when the whitetail rut arrives, she heads back to the field with me.
Utilizing a deer decoy can enhance your chances for success. Here are the reasons – and some tips – for why I use a deer decoy in late November.
