New York managers ask avid hunters their concerns, perceptions about turkeys in the state

An editor contacted me in late January, asking if I would write an article for his publication. It had a spring publication date, so he asked if I would write an article on turkey hunting. I had carte blanche on the specific topic, but as an aside, he asked me, “Have you been seeing less turkeys while you have been deer hunting?”
