Pennsylvania man convicted in drone deer recovery sting intends to appeal

The owner of a drone deer recovery business in Chester County was found guilty of several counts following an undercover sting operation by the Pennsylvania Game Commission.
Joshua Wingenroth, 35, was found guilty of two counts of using illegal electronic devices during hunting, disturbing game or wildlife, and violation of regulations on recreational spotlighting during a Feb. 22 summary trial in Lancaster County.

Fish and Wildlife Department proposes moose hunt in northeastern Vermont as winter ticks remain an issue

The Vermont Fish and Wildlife Department has proposed issuing 180 moose hunting permits in Vermont’s Wildlife Management Unit (WMU) E in the northeastern corner of the state in a continued effort to reduce the impact of winter ticks on moose in that area.
