Mention Braddock Bay to most sportsmen and women and their immediate thought is fishing, and with good reason. The major slice of Lake Ontario is a great departure point out into the big water, but a fine fishery all its own, especially known for its ice-fishing opportunities in years when the big bay locks up.
But the bay is also a part of the Braddock Bay Wildlife Management Area, and the WMA’s surrounding lands offer some fine hunting in a suburban area where access can be a challenge.
