Stretching out the spring turkey season in Michigan

The author writes that there’s no rush, really, to the spring turkey season. Many who have long chased the gobbling birds advise relaxing, letting the spring unfold, the mushrooms sprout, the bluegills begin bedding, and the hen turkeys get bred. (Photo by Bob "Greenie" Grewell)
