Scarcity of deer in Minnesota means rules need adjustment

I believe the deer aren’t there to begin with. I have dozens of contacts throughout the state, and I often heard, especially from friends in northern Minnesota, that groups of six to 12 hunters in a party would harvest one or two deer during two weekends of the firearms season. Salt Water Preview: Long Island’s multi-fish species smorgasbord

Pushing further out to the horizon with land drifting just out of sight, sharks and tuna along with mahi in summer months up the ante for anyone fortunate enough to experience one of the best saltwater fisheries on the East Coast.
