Lake Wallenpaupack (Pike County) – Smallmouth action has been good in recent weeks on crankbaits and tubes as well as surface lures just after daybreak. Channel catfish are reported up to 25 pounds. Ohio River Region

Although the water dropped around 14 feet, it’s still muddy and high. Water is traveling quickly and carrying large debris. Anglers in the Cincinnati area (Hamilton County) and all along the river are catching channel catfish in these conditions using cut baits, shrimp, chicken livers and night crawlers. Pickford Area Walleye fishing has been good in Munuscong Bay and Raber Bay. Anglers are trolling with crawler harnesses and casting or drifting jigs tipped with crawlers.
