Salmon fishing has picked back up for Lake Michigan anglers going offshore to 110-plus feet to find cooler water.
This river is in good shape, and late-summer patters are in full swing.
Salmon action has slowed some here, but good mixed bag of kings, steelhead, coho, and lake trout are being caught from 65 to 100 feet out of most every port.

Good coho action continues, with a few more kings showing up on Lake Michigan.
Summer patterns are in full swing in this fishery, where anglers are catching rock bass, smallmouth bass, catfish, and walleye, along with pike.
Coho action here has remained red-hot in 65-90 feet, although with recent south winds, some colder water can be found shallower than that.
