Drifting opportunities are real good up and down the river course and some good steelhead have been hooked up by anglers plying the higher water.

Ice anglers continue picking away at nice fish across the south shore.

Snow has hit the area pretty good and the ice probably won’t like it.

Steelhead are now the main species in this river, with a few brown trout being caught. Try using eggs, beads, pink worms, or a fly in the river.

Walleye anglers here reported an uptick in fishing, with some large fish catches reported.

Coho fishing has been excellent at all ports of this fishery.

While most ice fishing activity is on the main lake, the Rainy River continues to reward anglers who target it strategically.

Many anglers broke out their long rods and are having decent success, especially on the Missouri River.
