Good numbers of yellow perch have moved into the canals and have been cooperative here.

Good numbers of walleyes are being reported. Some anglers are catching big fish, but the norm so far has been numbers over size.

Plenty of nice walleyes have been caught up and down the Missouri River lately.

Shoreline and nearshore lake casting or small craft action has been good, mirroring the apparent strong numbers of brown trout.

Brown trout fishing out of Wilson and Olcott has been going gangbusters.

Anglers here reported good numbers of coho salmon and cisco caught.

Coho size is pretty good for this time of year, with some fish over 20 inches here already.

The walleye anglers that had the best action here were using blade-baits and hair jigs.

Hookups here are coming on egg sacks or big-profile jigs or flies. Drifts or swings will need to be deep and slowed down for best chances.
