Coho salmon fishing returned to the excellent level seen before a recent storm here.

On the south end, overall, the walleye and sauger bite has been good. Some anglers are reporting more fish moving closer to shore and becoming more active – a pattern that often develops as we

Ice fishing season has been put to sleep with the warmer weather and people are grabbing their open-water equipment. Plenty of walleyes are being caught, especially on the Missouri River.

Brown trout are the talk across the area.

Open-water season is right around the corner. Some feedback from the past hard-water season.

The lower river here is loaded with brown trout and boat anglers report excellent catches in all drifts.

Coho size is pretty good for this time of year here, with some fish over 20 inches already.

The coho salmon bite was good for anglers here this past week. Anglers targeting perch reported good numbers as well.
