The walleye and perch bite has been pretty good lately, especially when using tip-ups for the walleye.

It’s been a mixed bag in this area of late, but there are fish to be had.

Nearly every day, we hear of some angler hooking up on a hard-fighting big chrome fish.

We need some more cold (ice-making) weather. Looks like we will get some later this next week after some more warm days. That being said, the bite was really good and plenty of opportunities.

At moderate flow and good color, anglers here saw excellent steelhead action, with catches spread throughout the upper reaches.
