Ohio Lake Profile – Caesar Creek Lake, Warren/Clinton/Greene counties
Crappie fishing is especially good in the spring during the spawn. The crappies will be in the abundant tree tops and brush lines that dot the lake.

There’s some pretty good fishing within reach of a lot of people, whether they realize it or not.

For those who fish here, the draw is usually the expectation that they can put together a decent batch of sunfish or crappies and experience some quality largemouth bass fishing as well.

Newton Lake is changing and hasn’t produced one of its famous 10-pounders in a long time, but the 1,750-acre Jasper County cooling reservoir still ranks high among anglers.

Heavily stocked stream system also has wild trout.
Wisconsin Lake Profile – White Lake, Waupaca County
The largest bluegill captured in 2016 was 9.6 inches, but relative abundance of bluegills has decreased since the previous survey. Perch and black crappies show a similar trend – above average size, but very low
Minnesota Lake Profile – Lake Sarah, Murray County
Its physical features are pretty simplistic – very little structure and shallow – but it’s one heck of a walleye lake.
