The majority of walleyes being caught remain shallow and still being taken with minnows.

Hit everything from Mille Lacs, to ‘Tonka, to Chisago, to western Wisconsin and found some consistent patterns.

Wind made it tough on some of the bigger lakes in the area.

Most of the really good reports on walleyes came from less than 10 feet of water, with strong action in as shallow as 2 to 5 feet in some areas as well.
