The author’s fishing shack has been a very good spearing shack this winter.
Fishing is between the seasons. In southern Michigan, waters are mostly open and panfish are biting. And there are steelhead to be had in a number of places. U.P. still seeing winter and ice fishing.

Steelhead action has been good at a number of fisheries across both the Upper and Lower Peninsula.
