On Lake Erie, anglers had success trolling artificial jerk baits 45 feet back in shallower water, around 15 feet, at about 1.5 mph in this area.

The most recent survey of the fishery in Dollarville produced 961 fish, including seven species of game fish. The dominant predator species were muskie and northern pike.

The Lower Peninsula walleye and pike opener was good with good reports coming from a lot of areas of the state including the Tittabawassee River.
