Ralph Loos: Extent of Michigan deer season concerns evident by number of ‘views’

How deeply do Michigan hunters care about their deer season? When I checked DNR’s Youtube channel only 24 hours after the Natural Resources Commission’s consequential May 13 meeting, a whopping 24,899 views had been logged.
Speaking of “views,” 50 or so hunters registered to stand in front of NRC commissioners and give public comments during the meeting. Each and every one listed “deer regulations” as the topic of their appearance.
