Green Bay/Appleton Area

In Oconto County, Geano Beach anglers are seeing some success for perch and whitefish more than 2 miles out from the landing. The Oconto breakwater harbor is producing some whitefish and the occasional northern pike

Lake St. Clair Perch fishing is heating up on Lake St. Clair. A good bite has been reported off Selfridge, in front of Gino’s Surf, and between 10 and 11 Mile roads. Perch and bluegills

Northwest Region

Lake Erie, Presque Isle Bay and tributaries – Streams were holding some steelhead in early February but subject to variations in weather. Periods of warmer weather triggered runoff and occasional blowouts. Conditions can change quickly

Deer Creek Lake (Pickaway, Fayette, Madison counties) – With the gates open at the spillway at Deer Creek, anglers have been taking advantage and catching good numbers of fish, reports Jack McKirgan at Mary’s Bait

ANNANDALE AREA Crappie action is consistent in 30 to 50 feet on Clearwater Lake, 28 to 40 feet on Pleasant Lake, and 30 feet on Lake Sylvia. Look for sunfish in less than 12 feet
