There’s nothing quite so bittersweet as watching a gobbler strut into range within the first couple of hours of your turkey-hunting season here in Minnesota. While it’s always a rush to watch a big one spit and drum his way into your decoys, wrapping a tag around his leg signals the end of the season.
But it doesn’t have to. While we might live in a one-bird state, you can always take some hunters out who might need a little help. Or, you could head out of state to try to extend your season before summer comes.
